SOAKED IN LOVE

Stacked together in a sluicing machine,
We twirl and whirl to ameliorate our
Chemistry. Festooned in peanut curry,
We resemble a fantasy from fairytales seen on TV.

The sprinkling of water seems like a sweet conspiracy –
Why else would droplets elevate love, inch by inch?

Inspired by soliloquies, breaths unite like bridges.
Doused in love, lips await to meet each other at the horizon.
O man! If love is this beautiful, we yearn to be human beings –
Though today, we are but cutlery!
